ACTIVITY 1: SUMMARY
A queen who had a child transformed her child into a raven because she was naughty, and this raven flew into a dark forest. Then one man saw the raven crying and she explained the situation for him and asked him to set her free. The man had to go further into the forest and find a woman’s house, which would offer him food, which he couldn’t eat. He also had to wait for the raven on the house’s garden. The man accepted it.
He arrived to the house, but let himself be persuaded, and drank (then he slept). The second and third day the same thing happened, so the raven
left a ring, food and a message for the man, saying that he should go to the Castle of Stromberg. A few days later, he arrived to the glass-mountain which the castle stood, but he couldn’t reach it because he always slipped down the glass. He decided to wait for the queen’s daughter.
One day, he saw three robbers fighting for a horse that could ride even up the glass-mountain, a stick that could open doors and a mantle that when he put it on, he was invisible. The man said that he could give them a thing more valuable, but first he ought to know if they have told the truth. So the robbers gave him the things and then the man gave them blows and ran away.
When he arrived to the castle, he used his stick to open the door, and found the maiden. She couldn’t see him because of his mantle, and then he gave her the ring that she has given him, so she knew that he was on the castle. The man thrown off the mantle and the maiden went to his arms, kissed him and later they married.
ACTIVITY 2
I would be friend with the maiden, because she seems to be a good person and a good friend. I wouldn’t be friend with the maiden’s mother, because she’s mean and transformed her child into a raven.
ACTIVITY 3
The story's message is that we always must search for our problem's solutions, and search for the love of our lives. I've reached this conclusion because the maiden tried to solve her problems and she could do it, but with the help of the love of her life.
ACTIVITY 4
The fairy tales are important because they make us think about the sense of our lives, and more important, it shows to the children the different situations they may have to deal to, and teach them how to do it (because of the tales’ messages). The fairy tales are an example for the children, it encourages them not to do wrong things. The tales also have a conection with our lives nowadays – there are as difficult situations today as it were in the past.

ACTIVITY 7
(Tale read: The gingerbread man)
I agree with the message the group made, because the fairy tale truly shows us that we must be careful with the people who are surrounding us, sometimes they can surprise us. When we deposite our trust in another person we should do it carefully.
