ACTIVITY 1: SUMMARY
Once upon a time there was a king, feared by enemies. He had a beautiful wife and a daughter, they lived all in a magnificent palace; in it, a remarkable donkey which produced gold coins.
The queen became ill, however no one was able to save her. Before dying she made her husband promise he’d find a wiser and more beautiful woman, to bride.
Having to keep his promise, the only solution he found was marrying his daughter, for she was the only one who fit the position.
Frightened for her father’s decision and unfortunate on convincing him wrong, the princess ran for her godmother. The godmother’s advice was requesting a dress the color of the sky, as a condition to her father.
The king desperately searched for it and succeeded. The second and third urgency were quite similar. Though the king accomplished the behests once more. Her last request, the skin of the supernatural donkey. Fast at attending this last one, the princess’s idea was under covering and at the same time preparing for escape.
The godmother handed over a chest, for stuffing with personal belongings. In the early morning the princess disappeared disguised with the donkey’s skin.
On her journey, went asking everyone for a job, nevertheless was always refused for the hideous donkey appearance.
Found later a small job in a farm. On Sundays she would dress up, remembering how she once looked.
On the farm, a prince from the nearby kingdom use to stop by. The princess, by seeing him fell in love. Passing by her humble room the prince sighted the princess all dressed up. Asked donkey skin to make him a cake with her own hands. While making it, her ring slipped into the cake, intentionally.

She arrived at the palace with one of her beautiful dresses and impressed all. The princess re encountered her father, making amends. All lived happily ever after.
ACTIVITY 2
I am mostly identified myself with the princess, because I think I am really patient on some difficult times. I would probably never have any relation with the king, for he is anxious and very self centered.
ACTIVITY 3
One possible message transmitted was to never judge by appearances and to always be patient and optimistic.
A certain time, during the story, not everything went on as well as possible, but she kept optimistic and ended up really happy with her beloved. Everyone who misjudged her by her hideous look ended up regretting.
